Academics...
This will be my second year teaching at Oldenburg Academy. My educational background includes a bachelor of arts in history and a bachelor of arts in political science both from Saint Joseph's College where I completed my undergraduate studies. I also hold a master of arts in historical theology from Saint Louis University where I completed my graduate studies.
I teach juniors and sophomores in the department of religion at Oldenburg Academy. Juniors study Franciscan humanism; meanwhile, sophomores study the historical development of Christianity. I am also responsible for the Academy’s campus ministry program, recycling program (Recyclones), and the Adopt-A-Sis program (a division of campus ministry). I am also a faculty moderator for the sophomore class.
Personally...
In terms of me personally, I am originally from Chicago. I have also lived and worked in Indianapolis, Indiana and Saint Louis, Missouri (all are pictured above). I am an Apple enthusiast (have been since my Apple II) and am an ardent White Sox fan (in the National League though I tend to side with the Saint Louis Cardinals). I also enjoy literature, music, theatre, and the arts.
