Art Department's SiteHello and welcome This is my 27th year teaching art at Oldenburg Academy. I have a BS and MS in art/art education from Indiana State University and an MFA (Masters of Fine Arts) from the University of Kansas (KU). I have taught every grade from 1st to graduate student. I even owned a business for nine years called the Silversmith in which I made hand crafted pieces in gold and silver. My philosophy in teaching art is simple: I believe that everyone can learn how to draw. It is not just something that a few talented students can do successfully. By taking my 2-D class all students will learn how to design and draw realistically.
